In November 2020, a local no-cat shelter contacted my husband and I about fostering three unsocialized eighth-week old kittens. The kittens initially hissed and ran from us whenever we entered our kitten room. Four months later, when the kittens went up for adoption, they were readily approaching us for play and petting time.

No matter where you are on your cat parenting adventure, my events aim to equip you with the knowledge and skills to create a happy and fulfilling environment for both you and your feline companions. I believe that every cat deserves a loving home and every cat parent deserves to feel confident in their ability to provide the best care.

Cat Crash Course

At times, I offer my Cat Crash Course, a free online class available when there is enough interest. Classes are offered based on demand. After you sign up, watch for a confirmation email to secure your spot. In this class, I’ll share practical guidance on introducing a new cat to your home, engaging in effective play, understanding body language, meeting wants versus needs, and preparing for vet visits. The session also includes a Q&A so you can ask about your own cat.

“Why should I attend your class?“

I am a certified behavior cat consultant and trainer, work exclusively with cats, draw on my educational background for lessons, and give to the animal welfare community. In addition, my classes will connect you with other cat owners.

“Do you guarantee your services?“

My classes use research-based methods, but each cat owner and cat will progress at their pace, depending on various factors. I do guarantee that after we’re finished working together, you’ll have a better understanding of your cat’s behavior, and you and your cat will have grown in your skills.
